FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IF I AM REALLY OUT OF SHAPE?
​We have many people come through the door at ICCF who have shared that same fear, and they were totally fine! In fact, weeks, month, and years later wonder why they were ever worried in the first place. More importantly, most of them are now in the best shape of their lives. We would love to see the same for you. We promise you, the hardest thing you will ever have to do is put your fears and ego aside and walk through the front door to see what you have been missing. The rest is easy!

I HAVE HAD AN INJURY/SURGERY -- ARE IRON CORE 60/30 CLASSES (CROSSFIT) STILL OK FOR ME?
While we are not physicians (and we highly recommend you discuss any workout program with your physician prior to starting), many of our members have successfully used CrossFit to rehabilitate from injuries. We believe the best route to long-term health is to learn perfect form through functional movements. And this means to slowly build strength in those movements, rather than avoiding them altogether. Our experienced coaching staff will work with you to make sure you get a safe and effective workout no matter what your abilities or limitations.   

BUT WILL I GET BULKY?
No... just no. You will much sooner get lean than bulky. You have to want to get bulky to actually get bulky. 

I AM IN SHAPE, BUT HAVE NEVER DONE CROSSFIT -- CAN I SKIP THE FOUNDATIONS CLASS?
Nope. We require all of our new Iron Core 60 members to attend a Foundations Course prior to attending regular group classes. This is to ensure that all members have a solid understanding of the movements and performance standards we adhere to as well as the terminology we use in our classes to ensure all of members are working out in a fun, safe and effective environment. If you sign up for an Iron Core 60 membership, we will set up a time with you to complete the Foundations Course.

I’M NOT READY FOR GROUP TRAINING -- DO YOU OFFER PERSONAL TRAINING?
Absolutely! Contact us and we’ll help guide you through options that best work for you. 

CAN I WORKOUT ON MY OWN?
Yes. We offer an Open Gym to our Iron Core 60 members with limited availability to Iron Core 30 members. Once you become a member and complete the Foundations Course (so we can ensure solid understanding on movements and performance standards), you will be able to sign up for Open Gym times and work on whatever you choose.
